Meet the team

River Road Horsemanship grew out of one belief: great riders are made by understanding horses, not just sitting on them.

Hannah Baier

My name is Hannah Baier.  I've always had a passion for horses and for teaching so it was only natural that a riding school would be in my future.  A childhood trail riding in Colorado turned into showing Hunter Jumpers in New York.  I, then, decided to pursue a degree in Equine Sciences at Colorado State University (Go Rams!).  After college, my husband and I spent 5 years travelling the world working on horse farms.  In 2018 we decided it was time to put some roots down and we found ourselves here in the beautiful Rogue Valley.  I am now so happy to be able to establish River Road English Riding School and I look forward to the opportunity to share everything I have learned through my travels and school with you and/or your child.

Our philosophy

Horses and riders that are happy, healthy, safe, and kind.

Every lesson at River Road is built around those four words, for the horse as much as for the rider.
